I was apprehensive about sending off my slides, which were irreplacible, to a company I had found on the internet. I received in good order the 322= SLIDES that I had sent to you a couple of weeks earlier. The DVD I watched on my TV, and I am thrilled with way you have mounted them, the order of them, the identification of them, and the music accompaniment. I love it. The disc for my computer shows everything. And the booklet of them all was the icing on the cake.
I have just finished preparing another 783 slides for mailing. You should get them in a few days.

Simply put, I was not Disappointed at all.
They had great communication with me through out the process, and the selecting of which slides I wanted to keep and not keep was very easy.
They then promptly send my order back to me. My slides came back in the original box i shipped to them which was nice. And it was at this time i received a Surprise from them. My Disks, which i expected in simple paper or plastic disk holders, where not in holders of that sort. Instead, they were in a very nice book type case with all my disks in there nicely organized. This case has a cover printed with some simple text, but can be replaced with a custom cover if you want. This was a great surprise that i like.
There is nothing bad i can say. They were great!

I submitted 8mm films in B/W and color as old as 1935. Several of my films were too deteriorated to digitize safely on their equipment. Others were soaked in a special solution. The results were amazing and outstanding. I never thought I would get the quality I got. I am first amazed that the old Kodachrome films could hold such an amazing amount of picture quality in an area about 1/16th of a sq in. Secondly, that the picture quality could be captured in such perfection. I highly recommend Kevin's crew for recovery of 8mm films. I am still astounded.

I haven't looked at many of my 35 mm slides in over 30 years, and found some true treasures. I wanted to share those with family and friends, and looked into a scanner. After realizing how difficult scanning would be, I researched scanning services online, and loved digmypics site, information, user-friendlyness,ease of ordering and shipping, customer service, etc, and chose their service. I felt confident that my precious - and irreplaceable slides - were in good hands.
Once I shipped my order via fedEx, I was very impressed. There was constant communication, updates, and reassurance re my valuable slides. I knew where the slides were, when they had arrived at digmypics, and that they were being processed. Then, in a short time, my slides were done and online for my review. Once I approved (and I appreciate having that opportunity), my order was shipped to me.
The quality blew me away. Slides that I had trouble seeing from a projector, were very visible after scanning. I didn't notice scratches, dust, imperfections, nor any of that.
I then had a ball having family and friends friends review these treasures online, emailing images, printing, framing, etc.

It is so nice to finally have our movies in a form that we can watch after so many years. They're fun to watch. I was so happy that you were able to read them at all, and to get the DVDs made and sent to us so quickly.
